Edelbrock and Comps are hard at work coming out with new products for a full range of automotive engines. Case in point: new Ford upgrades including new Edelbrock Supercharger Stage II for Mustangs and Comp Cams Performance Lash Adjusters for Ford Modular 4.6L/5.4L Engines.
The new Stage 2 Supercharger for the Mustang 5.0L Gen II Coyote V8 utilizes the high-efficiency Eaton R2650 TVS rotor assembly with a high-twist lobe design to deliver an ultra-smooth and linear torque curve with more usable performance at all points in the power band.
An Uplifting Experience
Just like lifters in a pushrod motor, lash adjusters in Ford Modular motors can leak down under high RPM, causing lost duration and lift, as well as more valve train wear. The Comp Cams Performance Lash Adjusters for Ford Modular 3V applications are engineered for a slower leak down rate when compared to stock lash adjusters. This provides more lift and duration when aggressive performance camshafts and heavy-duty valve springs are installed.
